Reborn

"Am I nothing but a bush that has overgrown its garden, a tree that blocks your view of the world from here to the end? Does no one understand the instrument that runs this machine with endless thoughts? There is another world out there. One filled with magic, the kind of place where love is known unconditionally and called upon too often to name. Where do I go to find it? How do I learn the sound that one makes to call for it? Could it really exist amongst the weeds? Would such stealers of order allow it to subsist in its perfectly shaped lines? Perhaps there once was a time, but it has been hidden so well that its secrets have faded away into dust, dust that the evil wind has tossed to every end on the earth. Is it too late, can these ends be recovered? I put the pieces together trying to mimic the whispers of those from the past who once knew. Will I succeed? Can I recreate the key that unlocks the door to the world that has been forgotten, or will I fail and be left alone? Is it in the stars that I not taste the goodness that used to be? My breath is sustained from prayer to prayer. My hope is reborn once more by hands outreached from heaven."
