I have the best mother:)

I just wanted to take a second to let everyone know how lucky I am. I have the best mother in the world! She sat by me patiently when I took 5 min to put one shoe on because I wanted to do it myself. She spent at least ten minutes every night tucking me into bed. She played for me on stage when I sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow at age 8. She taught me how to clean and she taught me how to cook. She gently held my head through the night when an earache kept me from sleeping. She fell to her knees in the quiet of her closet to pray for me. She gave me encouragement to push on when the storm of life made me question my abilities. She taught me how to care, how to be kind, how to forgive, how to love, how to hope, how to dream, how to be. She pulled my face up to the light when all I could see was darkness. She reminded me of who I really am.
