Friday when I got off work at three I walked through the door and Ashton had just gotten back from school and had this great idea. "Wanna' go to Island Park" with a big mischievous grin on his face was just about the first thing I heard. So about 20 minutes later with two duffel bags filled with gear, jeans, and sweatshirts, we jumped in the car and drove up to island park for conference weekend to, of course, listen to conference, fish, and just be in the wilderness. It was wonderful. I am still amazed at the amazing sleep I get up their. I think I could sleep all day it is so peaceful, but of course I never do. Here are some fabulous pictures from the weekend. What a solder, fishing with a cast...I told you he was hard core.
Me absolutely freezing and loving it
I love this man.
I love fall.
Ashton took this picture. The trees literally looked like they were on fire next to the tall pines.

My silly cute husband, best friend, and absolute love of my life.
Our friends Crystal and Jim came up with us, we were so glad that they decided to join us:)
And this is where we spent the weekend fishing... gorgeous!!! PS: and yes those rocks were incredibly slippery and everyone in are party had fall that day. Luckily we all made it out without any broken bones.
My handsome husband always looks good with his vest and rod.
